In a heartwarming effort to celebrate their patients healing journey, Amandeep Group of Hospitals ecstatically organised the ‘‘Relive your Sports and Life’ event with Dr Inderdeep Singh.
Held at Courtyard by Marriot, Amritsar, the event primarily focused on appreciating the relentless efforts of the Ortho Specialists at Amandeep Hospitals. Dr Inderdeep Singh, Senior Consultant – Sports and Ligaments Injury, was cordially congratulated on achieving unparalleled success in treating Orthopaedic patients.
In addition to numerous cured patients, several eminent personalities graced the venue with their presence. Dr Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), was present as the Chief Guest of the event.
Moreover, Dr Sukhdev Singh was the Guest of Honour, while Dr Baljit Singh, the Head of the Sports Department at Khalsa College, Amritsar & Dr Amandeep Singh of GNDU’s Sports Department were the special guests. Also present at the event was Dr Ravi Mahajan, HOD & Chief Plastic, Microvascular & Reconstructive Surgeon at Amandeep Hospitals Amritsar.
As the event progressed, Dr Inderdeep Singh thanked his patients for their respect and admiration. He also spoke about how the city of Amritsar has given various national and international players to India. But, sports injuries are highly common. And even the most skilled players can suffer injuries during their game or practice sessions. Many times, these injuries can turn out to be quite serious.
Given the fast pace of life these days, such ortho injuries are not just limited to sports players. Anyone can experience these troubles due to road accidents or other unfortunate incidents.
He added that such injuries meant retirement for players in the past. But not anymore! Thanks to advancements in medical science and economical treatment techniques, players can get back to the field better than ever.

Furthermore, the event had multiple sports activities and a Zumba session. Dr Jaspal Singh Sandhu also shared his valuable words with the attendees and esteemed guests. Dr Ravi Mahajan, Dr Inderdeep Singh and others also bestowed an honour to Dr Sandhu during the event.
