The National Board of Exams (NBE) is an educational board dealing with medical postgraduate teaching programmes at a national level. It was introduced to aim at a unified teaching programme across the country, apart from the various state-restricted medical boards.
The program serves all the purposes of enabling students to gain all-round knowledge about the specialized field. Candidates are skilled in conducting academic meetings, reviews, seminars, managing records, and performing emergency duties. The course is set with the aim of monitoring and evaluating the skills of the students before they are competent enough to turn up as professional doctors specializing in different medical domains.
Academically successful doctors are employed, have sustainable jobs, and hold important posts in various government and private institutions nationally and internationally. Some have established good nursing homes as practising renowned clinical practitioners and serving society.
The fee structure for all DNB trainees is as applicable and set by the National Board of Examinations for that year. The trainee shall bear no Additional fees. Guidelines regarding the accreditation of the institute and selection of the residents are purely done in accordance with rules and regulations issued by the NBE from time to time.

Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) is a post MD/MS/DNB super speciality degree awarded by NBE,Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) is a post MD/MS/DNB super speciality degree awarded by NBE. It is equivalent to Doctorate of Medicine (DM) / Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) degrees awarded respectively in medical and surgical super specialties. its a 3 years course
Fellowship of National Board (FNB) a doctoral fellowship program for doctors in India that is done by them after completion of their postgraduate medical degree course. The duration of the FNB course is for 2 years.
Post MBBS Diploma Course NBE Diploma refers to the diplomas awarded by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. These are specialized diploma programs offered in various medical fields, similar to DNB programs. NBE Diploma courses are typically shorter in duration compared to DNB programs and focus on a specific medical specialty. These diploma courses provide candidates with specialized skills and knowledge in their chosen field and enable them to practice as specialists. its a 2 years course
