The holy city of Amritsar is a well-known tourist destination, with the Golden Temple and Wagah Border being the highlights. Amritsar is known for its great culinary experience and a plethora of eat-outs. The city has very good connectivity to the rest of the country and international destinations. The cost of living is way less than in metro cities, but the standard of living is comparable. Mall culture and good nightlife add to the appeal of Amritsar.
