After attending St Stephen's School in Chandigarh, Dr Himanti Salhan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, Punjab, in the 2010-2015 batch.
Further, she earned her MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana (Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab) in 2019. Her thesis on 'High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein Levels, Alkaline Phosphatase Levels and Cervical Length as a Predictor of Preterm Birth' was approved and published by BFUHS.
Dr Himani has versatile experience in the medical domain. She worked in an educational institute as a Junior Resident before joining a multispecialty hospital. She also completed a year-long rotary internship in Government Medical College, Patiala.
She is currently working as a Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist at Amandeep Kamal Hospital, Tarn Taran. Moreover, she holds a position as the Quality In-Charge Auditor at the same hospital. In addition to her practice, she is undergoing NABH quality standard education.
Dr Salhan actively participates in social work and is associated with multiple NGOs, including Smile Train, IsoCare, etc. Striving to better herself, she has participated in various workshops, meetings and conferences in numerous premier institutes.
Apart from her medical career, Dr Himanti Salhan is a trained Classical Dancer, certified Make-Up Artist, Hiker and an off-road Adventurist.
