Thanks to his countless achievements, Dr Inderdeep Singh is a highly renowned doctor in the medical industry. He attained his MBBS from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, affiliated with Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai. In 2012, he earned his MS in Orthopaedics from Dr Vasantrao Pawar Medical College and Research Centre, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Maharashtra. During his post-graduation, he undertook a lot of routine work. This includes running the outpatient department, conducting trauma audits, communicating with relatives and parents, performing major orthopaedic procedures, etc. Subsequently, he pursued DNB Orthopaedics from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
Dr Inderdeep (ID) has completed four fellowships from multiple universities in India and abroad. These include a Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai) and Fellowship in Sports Rehabilitation (Medvarsity, Hyderabad).
Furthermore, he accomplished the IMRI Primary & Revision Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy Fellowship (Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia) and Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship (Rajkot, Gujarat). He has also completed a two-week observership in Arthroscopy. This programme was under DR David V Rajan of OrthoOne, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Dr Singh has had a distinguished career in the medical domain. After completing his compulsory residential rotary internship at his college, Dr ID worked as a House Surgeon at Civil Hospital, Kapurthala, in 2008. He then became a Medical Officer at SGL Hospital, Mustafabad, in 2009. Following that, he practised as a Resident Orthopaedic at Dr Vasant Rao Pawar Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Nashik, from 2009 to 2012.
After that, Dr Singh assumed the Senior Resident (Orthopaedics) role at Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar, Punjab (2013 to 2016). In addition, he has been acting as a Consultant, Arthroscopy and Ilizarov Surgeon at the same hospital since 2016. Currently, he is the Senior Consultant - Sports and Ligaments (Arthroscopic Surgeon) at Amandeep Group of Hospitals. Dr ID Singh has numerous professional affiliations, including the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS), and Punjab Orthopaedic Association, among others. Keen to constantly upgrade his skills, Dr ID has taken several professional pieces of training throughout his career. These include AO Basic Trauma (2014), Cadaveric Spine Course (2010), BOS Basic Ilizarov course (2010), and more.
Dr Singh is known for delivering numerous presentations across various national and international events. In addition, he has attended a wide range of conferences across the nation. He has a number of publications in national and international journals to his credit.
Dr Inderdeep Singh routinely performs a broad spectrum of surgeries, including MPFL reconstruction, compound fracture debridement and fixation, deformity correction, Baker's cyst removal, DeQuervain's release, Fasciotomy, carpal tunnel release, split skin grafting, arthroscopic procedures, and many more. Dr Singh is a multi-linguist Physician who can speak five languages.
