Senior Consultant Cardiologist
Dr Neelam Kaul is the Senior Consultant & Interventional Cardiologist and In Charge Primary PCI Programme in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at Amandeep Hospital (Pathankot). With about 16 years of experience in paediatric, invasive and non-invasive cardiology, she has treated nearly 10,000 IPD and OPD patients in the region.
Dr Neelam is a highly qualified Interventional and Clinical Cardiologist with training in Paediatric Cardiology. Along with her team, she has offered professional services and advice in world-class facilities, including QRG Havells Hospitals New Delhi, Fortis Escorts Hospital New Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi. They have also provided advanced and tertiary cardiac care to the communities of Gurdaspur, Dalhousie, Dharamshala, Palampur, Kathua, Pathankot, Mukerian, Chamba, Kangra, Samba and more.
Dr Kaul has performed more than 500 pacemaker implantations, 500 ICD implants & primary angioplasties and 1500 angioplasties. Moreover, she has performed countless renal & peripheral surgeries and balloon vasectomies.
Dr Neelam Kaul has received coveted European and American scholarships for her outstanding contribution to offering tertiary cardiac care under harsh circumstances. Furthermore, she has presented numerous publications at multiple international & national conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.
