Dr Manmeet Singh Jhawar is currently practising as a Senior Consultant and Head of Department (HOD) - Nephrology Department at Amandeep Medicity, Amritsar. He served as an Assistant Professor, Nephrology at Christian Medical College (CMC) and Hospital, Ludhiana. Furthermore, he formerly worked as a Senior Resident - Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Dr Jhawar has an extensive list of meritorious achievements. He became the National Talent Search Examination scholar in 1997. In 2004, he was the best intern and received two gold medals. One for standing first in university & college exams and the second for obtaining the highest marks in all professional MBBS exams.
Plus, he got a distinction (more than 80%) in Anatomy, Forensic Medicine, Pathology and Ophthalmology. In 2003, Dr Jhawar won the first prize in UG Quiz in North Zone CME. Then, in 2004, he organised the first International Symposium of CMC Alumni. He was also a speaker at an integrated case presentation on Diabetes Mellitus in the same year.
Dr Manmeet is a proud recipient of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) grant for his DM thesis. Moreover, he received a grant for a paper presentation at the World Congress of Nephrology.
Dr Manmeet Singh Jhawar has published much of his research in national & international papers and publications and is highly regarded for his knowledge in the medical field.
