[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]A beautiful nose is an essential component of a harmonious face and blends into the background. Customized rhinoplasty techniques allow us today to sculpt your nose and in harmony with your face.

At Amandeep Hospital a functional rhinology evaluation should precede all surgery of the nose. Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure to correct or reconstruct the nose. This may be needed to straighten the nose, reduce a hump, change the nasal tip, or correct any dips or depressions on the nose’s bridge. Minor abnormalities inside the nose causing twisting or blockage may also be corrected at the same time.

Surgery aims to improve the nose cosmetically, to maintain or improve function, and to produce a result that has a natural, non-operated appearance.

Depending on the nasal anatomy, the rhinoplasty may be done either via an open or closed approach. The same will be explained by the attending plastic surgeon depending on your specific needs.

Generally, you have nasal packs in place for three days following rhinoplasty, and you will have to breathe through your mouth. Packs will be removed on the 3rd day, and you will be discharged home. The splint on the nose will remain for 10-14 days.

Bluish discoloration around the nose and eyes and swelling around the eyes may be present for a few weeks and disappear entirely independently.

Strenuous activities need to be avoided for 2-3 months post-surgery.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
