Smile train Story – Anukriti

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When Anukriti was born to Devendra and Beena Devi in the remote hilly area of Tehri Garhwal , local doctors told that the baby is born with a congenital deformity in which the lip and palate of the baby are cleft on both the sides and it will not be possible to treat such baby in their hospital and they will have to go to big cities and will have to spend for the procedure from their pocket. Both Devendra and Beena Devi were poor and hopeless, they kept on accumulating funds for their daughters but they knew that they will not be able to get the desired funds ever.

Meanwhile Devendra met his friend and he told him about his child who was also having the same congenital deformity and he took his son to smile train accredited hospital, Amandeep hospital, Amritsar where all the expenses of the surgery and travel charges were also given to them by the hospital personnel. Devendra was very happy and decided to take his daughter to Amritsar. While reaching the hospital both the parents were adequately explained about the deformity and the surgery, after some investigations and checkup Anukriti was planned for smile train surgery very next day. Surgery went uneventful and the face of Anukriti changed forever and the fate of their parents too. They both came back happily to their village.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
