  • Base Oil

Making Amla Oil from Amla Powder

Ingredients

  • Amla Dried Powder
  • Base Oil (Sesame or coconut oil)
  • Water

Quantity (Ratio)

  • 1 Kg (1 Part)
  • 2 Litre (2 Part)
  • 8 Litres (8 Part)

Steps:

  • Take Amla Dried Powder and mix it in water.
  • Leave it for 24 hours.
  • Now, boil the water with Amla powder and add warm base oil.
  • Now, simmer the mixture until the water gets evaporated and only oil remains.
  • Leave it for 1 to 3 days.
  • The next day, separate the oil from the residues using a clean cotton cloth.
