Types of Anaesthesia We Offer

• General Anaesthesia – For major surgeries, with complete unconsciousness
• Regional Anaesthesia – Spinal, epidural, and nerve blocks
• Local Anaesthesia – For minor procedures
• Sedation Techniques – Conscious sedation for day care or diagnostic procedures

Perioperative Care

• Continuous monitoring of vital signs during surgery
• Use of modern anaesthesia workstations and monitoring systems
• Strict infection control and safety protocols

Technology and Equipment

• Modern anaesthesia machines and ventilators
• Advanced monitoring (EtCO₂, BIS, NIBP/IBP, SpO₂, ECG, temperature)
• Emergency resuscitation protocols and crash cart

Infrastructure & Technology

• Modern Anaesthesia Workstations (Datex Ohmeda / Dräger / Mindray, etc.)
• Multiparameter monitors (EtCO₂, NIBP, IBP, BIS, TOF, temperature, CVP)
• Ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and vascular access
• Fibreoptic bronchoscope, video laryngoscope, and airway management tools
• Dedicated Pre-anaesthesia check-up (PAC) Clinic and Post-Anaesthesia Recovery Unit (PACU)

Department Highlights

• Daily exposure to a wide range of elective and emergency surgeries including general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, obstetrics & gynaecology, urology, neuro surgeries, onco- surgeries, cosmetic surgeries, smile train programme and minimally invasive procedures.
• Dedicated Pre-Anaesthesia Check-up (PAC) Clinic and Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Centralised oxygen pipeline, modern anaesthesia machines, and high-end monitoring devices (EtCO₂, BIS, NIBP/IBP, TOF, temperature).
• Exposure to advanced airway devices: video laryngoscope, fibreoptic bronchoscope, and supraglottic airway tools.
• Regular simulation-based training in CPR, difficult airway management, and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Clinical Exposure

• Wide range of surgeries: General, laparoscopic, orthopaedics, urology, ENT, obstetrics, ophthalmology, plastic, neuro surgery and oncosurgery
• Critical Care Rotations: ICU management, invasive monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and sepsis protocols
• Emergency Anaesthesia Exposure: 24×7 OT services, trauma cases, and high-risk obstetric anaesthesia
• Day-care Anaesthesia & Painless Procedures
• Pain Management Clinics: Acute and chronic pain services with interventions

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized institution and must have qualified NEET-PG.
